Configure genes, generate a fly population, select one female and one male, cross them, and watch Mendelian genetics come alive.

Development notice: This Drosophila simulator is still under active development for genetics teaching. Small bugs, unexpected fly behaviours, or notation inconsistencies may occasionally appear while new features are being added and refined. 1. Genetic setup

Choose 1–3 genes, then select which Drosophila mutations to include. Autosomal and X-linked inheritance are supported. Dominant mutations use uppercase-like symbols; recessive mutations use lowercase.

Teaching mode: after random generation, the app adds at least one missing rare genotype class when possible.

Tip: in Mystery mode, student sees phenotypes but not genotypes. That is deliciously evil pedagogy.
